SHSAT Prep
Prepare with confidence for New York City's Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) through a comprehensive, results-driven program designed to help students maximize their potential. Our students learn every topic tested on the SHSAT while practicing challenging exam-style questions, learning proven test-taking strategies, and fine-tuning their time management and test-taking skills.

Our SHSAT Prep Course provides in-depth instruction in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math, focusing on the concepts, strategies, and critical thinking skills students need to succeed on test day. Each lesson combines targeted instruction, guided practice, and realistic SHSAT questions to build knowledge, mastery and confidence.

Master the core math concepts and advanced problem-solving techniques tested on the SHSAT, including all geometry, algebra, statistics, coordinate geometry, as well as computation shortcuts and estimation.

Strengthen reading comprehension, revising/editing, and analytical reasoning skills.

Learn proven test-taking strategies, time management, and pacing techniques.

Practice with authentic SHSAT questions and full-length practice exams.

Receive detailed explanations, personalized feedback, and ongoing progress assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Our experienced and caring instructors create a supportive and challenging learning environment that encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and develop confidence in their abilities. Small class sizes (typically 4 - 8 students per class) allow for individualized attention, ensuring every student receives the guidance needed to achieve their highest score.

We offer several SHSAT preparation programs to meet students wherever they are in their preparation.

Ongoing year-round weekly SHSAT classes – Weekdays after school and/or Saturdays

Special Intensive SHSAT Boot Camps that take place over school breaks (summer and winter breaks)

All of our classes are taught in person in small groups (typically 4-8 students) giving students plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive individual attention.

Classes meet in-person after school on weekdays and/or on Saturdays at our convenient midtown location near K-town and Chelsea.
